Conjunctions are used to connect clauses (or sentence arguments) to each other. According to their use, they are classified into coordinating conjunctions and subordinating conjunctions.
Coordinating conjunctions connect main clauses, subordinate clauses (depending on the same main clause) and sentence arguments with identical syntactic function.
