Subordinating conjunctions

MA4

Subordinating conjunctions connect a subordinate clause with another subordinate clause or a main clause. The finite verb form is at the end of the subordinate clause.

Example
Er hat gesagt,
	dass	er die Prüfung nicht bestanden hat.

Example
Er hat gesagt,
	dass er die Prüfung nicht bestanden hat,
		obwohl	er viel gelernt hat.

The following are subordinating conjunctions:
